Hungarian glass maker

Founded in 1853 in the town of Pecs the Zsolnay factory produced tiles, chimneys, pyrogranite that was largely used in buildings all overy Hungary. From 1893, it produced also glass artefacts with the unique and famous metalic decor "Eosin". Various artists contributed to the factory. It was the leading glass factory during the Art Nouveau period.
